Minutes of Meeting
Quadring Village Hall – 3RD October 2022 @ 7.00pm
Councillors and members of the meeting observed a one minute silence in Honour of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II who passed away on 8th September 2022

There were no members of the public present.

3. Declarations of Interest
None
4. Approval of Minutes of Meeting of 22nd August 2022 and any updates to those Minutes .
Minutes approved. Amendment to point 10 – “£1750.00 Paid to PCC.”
5. Chairmans and Clerks Report to include any correspondence received.
i) PCSO – Colin Abbotts
PCSO Abbotts informed Council via email that he was back as our local PCSO from 30th September. It was agreed to ask PCSO Abbotts for any information relevant to the village to be emailed to the Clerk and ask if he would wish for a meet and greet at a Council Meeting.
ii) Donald Baldwin – Queen Elizabeth Memorial Woodland
Clerk received email from Mr Baldwin with a suggestion of a woodland in memory of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Councillors agreed Mr Baldwin’s suggestion was a fantastic idea but there was no land available for such a project, neither are the parish council in a financial position to be able to sustain. Chairman will field the question to Gosberton Parish Council who are in a more viable financial position. Clerk to respond to Mr Baldwin to this effect.
iii) Monkey Challenge – Finding Fitness Ltd
Clerk received email regarding Monkey Challenge – A play solution for all ages. Clerk to obtain further information.
iv) Carrie Staley –Thank you from the Parish Council to Ms Staley for her help and time in replacing the flag for the Queens period of mourning.
6. Park Update
Awaiting responses from companies who have been contacted for repair quotes. To be carried over to next meeting when more information available.

Agreed - £238.80 to N Sneath

11. Any Other Business
Councillor Clifft raised concerns of dead trees in the Casswell Drive Orchard. Clerk to contact Environmental Services at SHDC asking for an investigation of the Orchard.
Councillor Bingham informed councillors Quadring Fen Village Hall had been acquired by a group in Sleaford who are not in a position to sell or renovate. An expression of interest would be logged and further information sought.

Agenda to be set as usual with Road Closures being removed and discussed under any other business.
