Inspection imminent. Two ladders on the equipment both have rotten slats need replacing the up and down balance beam also rotten will need replacing

7.   Planning Applications

Site of land previously owned by HB.  HB not party to discussion.  Not agreed due to road not usable, no turning space for larger vehicles, ie bin lorries, too many blocks of housing and plans altered from original with more housing.

8.   Any further application since drawing up of Agenda?

None

9.   Payments

Clerks wages – agreed to go on to automatic payment

10.   Jubilee Celebrations

Elizabeth Stott spoke at the beginning of the meeting to update the Jubilee Celebrations in June.  Showed us some of the items that had been sourced and ordered for the celebration, ie bunting and saying there was nothing else required at present. CR is to have a chat with a local company to see if can source an Oak tree.  Parish council will pay for the hall for 4 hours, the length of time for the jubilee celebrations.  DAT will look at costing for the plaque.

11.   Bus Service

AJ had asked for the bus rates and timetables to be forwarded to us but nothing had been received.  Email had been sent to Jane King.  Brylaines original intention was to resume services from April this is not now looking hopeful as they are not returning to full Saturday service.

12.   Any Other Business

A request for horses to be tethered in the playing field for a few hours for a funeral was requested – no objection made

Conifers on the corner of the house next to the village hall were causing a road blockage

South Drove fly tipping had not been revisited so unaware if this had yet been cleared or if it was still a problem.

Pot hole outside DB property still not repaired.

It was requested  that recognition be made  to JY for the fantastic job being carried out regenerating the use of the village hall which is now being used more regularly.
