QUADRING PARISH COUNCIL 

Minutes of meeting Monday 8th of March 2021 at 7pm. 

4 members of the public present also lcc Cllr Rodney Grocock

None, potential discussed re, primary school classroom but was not discussed during meeting

9.    Speeding issues main road 

District Cllr Henry Bingham informed the council that checks were being done by the police and road safety partnership over the coming weeks, these would include speed van, foot checks also a covert survey of traffic and speed along the a152 between donington and gosberton.

It was decided that support would be given to request a speed reduction between the villages to hopefully reduce speeding within the village. Results of speed checks to be given at the next meeting.

10.    Queens platinum jubilee, to consider parish council involvement and support locally.

Cllr Grocock was invited to talk on this point, It was agreed the parish council would offer support to any groups that wished to organize an event to commemorate the event within the village subject to approval. Discussions were to be had with the school and local w.i.

11.    Discuss request for memorial bench on the green opposite village shop on the cresent 

Clerk was to find out the ownership of the land and request permission, parish council agreed in principle subject to approval of said bench and fitting as there were concerns on future maintenance.

12.    Sign off updated standing orders, code of conduct, complaints procedure, discrimination and disability policy.

H15-0100-21 judy cross barn conversion

Support as it has no other use and would improve the area, to ask if it is possible to get an owl box fitted on site.

H15-0102-21 70 main road quadring details of boundary treatments

H15-1089-20 erection of garage for storage and works to stockcars

No objection, concerned about possible noise

Concern on the frequency of dog bins being emptied/missed
