  1. Play Areas
  • The play areas in St Margarets and Casswell Drive are both subject to an annual inspection by ROSPA
  • The play equipment is insured as shown on the schedule supplied by the Insurance company
  • The Clerk has attended a course regarding playground equipment inspection, and carries out regular checks
  • Risk assessments are carried out in March, July and September
  • The playing fields are discussed at the Parish Council meetings, any major problems should be discussed with the Clerk immediately
  1.       Clerk Sickness
    • The Clerk is also the Responsible Financial Officer
    • If the Clerk is unable to attend a Parish Council meeting due to illness, then the Council would nominate someone to take the minutes.
    • If the Clerk was unable to fulfil the role long term, cover would be provided by the neighbouring Clerk/LALC locum
  2.       Computer Back up 
    • Clerk stores all documents the laptop and backs up to a flash drive
    • Manual records are currently being transferred to electronic records
  3.       Internal Audit
    • Carried out annually
  4.       Effectiveness of the Parish Council system of Internal Controls
    • Carried out on an annual basis when the Internal Audit is completed
  5.       Salem Burial Ground
    • Upkeep of the burial ground is carried out by TN Sneath
    • Inspection of the burial ground is carried out every 6 months
